In short

Quiet Minesweeper (made by Shenzhen Zhilianchuang Network Technology Co., Ltd.) has no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking, and you never need an account. We collect only what is needed to count website visits and to verify and rank finished games.

Our website

quietminesweeper.com counts visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool we run on our own server (not a third-party service). It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address; it records the page, the referring site, your country, device type and simple actions such as starting or winning a game, so we know whether the site is useful.

The Minesweeper game in your browser runs entirely on your device. Your boards, moves and times are not sent to or stored on any server.

The app

Your records — best times, top-ten times, win streaks, the daily calendar, settings and themes — are stored on your device. You can play fully offline; nothing is sent while offline.

When you are online, finished games are submitted anonymously to our server: the board, its date, your time and the sequence of moves. No name, email or account is attached. The moves are replayed to verify that the result is genuine, and verified daily-board results are used to rank the daily board.

Purchases

Plus is an optional one-time purchase (no subscription). Payment is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play; we never see your card details.

How we use it

To verify results, rank the daily board and understand whether the website is useful. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Submitted game results are kept on our own backend and sent over encrypted connections. Like most online services, the server keeps short-lived access logs that include IP addresses, used only for security and troubleshooting.

Your choices

You can play without ever going online. If you would like submitted results removed, email support@quietminesweeper.com and tell us roughly when you played; because results are anonymous, we may need details such as the date and time of the game to find them.

Children

Quiet Minesweeper is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the date above.
